Beneath the Elder Tree runs a whole network of underground tunnels, entered through a hollow at the base of the tree — the same hollow, most believe, that leads down toward the Rootlight Archive. Though the Root Paths run below ground, they're never dark: the same golden swirls and flourishes that glow through the Elder Tree's roots light these tunnels too, joined by clusters of soft glowing mushrooms along the way.
